This watercolor painting retreat will take place on Lake Maggiore, in an enchanting corner of Italy.<\/p>

Dates:<\/strong><\/p>

In Italian, February 2027, from Thursday the 25th to Sunday the 28th (3 nights)<\/strong><\/p>

In English, May 2026, from Tuesday the 5rd to Tuesday the 12nd (7 nights)<\/strong><\/p>

This painting holiday will take place in one of Italy’s most beautiful lakes, Lake Maggiore. Our venue is a charming Home holiday Center located right on the lake. About 60 km from Milan Malpensa airport.<\/p>

<\/span>Lake Maggioore is the second-largest lake in Italy. It sits between Italy and Switzerland, and is famous for its bright blue water, green hills, and lovely islands, The Borromean Islands are a beautiful group of islands in the lake, known for their grand palaces and stunning gardens. What better setting to paint what we see around us and take home dreamed-of memories?<\/p>

The Course<\/strong><\/p>

It will take place into a class in the structure overlooking the lake. We will paint also outdoors.<\/p>

During the course, you’ll learn watercolor techniques, starting from the basics.
The learning process is guided.
You’ll learn how to manage colors, sketching, composition, tonal values, perspective, and proportions applied to watercolor.<\/p>

We’ll start with simpler examples on postcards on the first day, then move on to more complex paintings on the following days, where we’ll put what we’ve learned into practice.<\/p>

A detailed list of materials will be sent to participants.<\/p>
