In this Watercolour Painting Holiday in Usseaux May 10-13 2025 you will spend an inspiring watercolor painting holiday in Usseaux, a medieval village located in the Italian Alps, known as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
The course lasts 4 days from Saturday to Tuesday, with daily lessons for half a day, the other half of the day you will have time to participate in excursions, or continue painting peacefully surrounded by the wonderful mountains of Usseaux.

The course
This course is dedicated to watercolor, the theme: nature, lake and figures.
The lessons will be totally focused on teaching with demonstrations provided at every stage, helping students to clearly learn each technique firsthand. A step-by-step guide will help you increase your self-confidence, while still encouraging you to develop your own style.
You will learn from drawing to watercolor step by step, from observation, we will see perspective and figures, the simplification of objects into simple geometric figures, proportions, study of chiaroscuro, composition and copying from life.
Excursions (optional):
Walk to Lake Laux, 30 minutes on foot (optional)
This lake is a pearl of the Chisone Valley with shades of colors due to the period and the light of the moment.
Forte di Fenestrelle about 15 minutes.
Outside the Course:
You can enjoy the SPA in the hotel
You will also have the opportunity to visit fantastic places in the area, such as the Colle delle Finestre or the Assietta road that divides the Chisone Valley from the Susa Valley and from where you can observe both valleys.
You can simply draw inside or outside in the streets of the village
The hotel
The course will take place in the mountain hotel La Placette, a charming structure where you can enjoy traditional cuisine from local products and hospitality. All the rooms and the structure are in the traditional stone building with wonderful views where you will feel at home.
