Bio
Luisa Diaz Chamorro, born in Málaga, Spain, in 1970. Lives in Rivoli, Turin, Italy
She discovered her passion for painting and drawing from an early age, at the age of 10 she began to make portraits of her family and friends from life
At 15 she began her education at the school of the portrait painter Antonio Montiel, in the pasaje Chinitas in Malaga, where she learned the technique of oil painting and copying from life
She studied technical drawing in high school and in 1994 she graduated in mechanical engineering, the year in which she moved to Turin for work. Painting has always remained a passion of hers, attending art schools in all the cities where she lived, Malaga, Barcelona, Madrid, Paris and Turin.
Since 2012 she began to frequent the mountains of the Chisone valley, where she began to paint more intensely, using different supports such as stone and wood, and creating murals. After a few years she opened her business in Usseaux. In the old stable of the house it is possible to admire her artworks with scenes of animals and mountains.
In 2017 he discovered the watercolor technique, which he developed and refined following the teachings of the great masters in Italy and abroad.
In 2019 she decided to dedicate herself completely to art in a professional way, in particular to the techniques of watercolor, soft pastel and oil.
She opens a second studio in Rivoli, the city where she lives, in via Piol n.8
She dedicates herself to artistic production, to the plein air and also organizes watercolor painting study holidays and online courses in several languages.
